• A concrete hardness tester can save invaluable time and money. Understanding the hardness of a concrete floor prior to carrying out any work will ensure that the correct tools are being used to offer the best productivity.
• A moisture meter is essential when applying any coatings. The single biggest reason for any coating failure is poor floor preparation. Part of this preparation is to ensure that the moisture in the floor meets the coating manufacturers specifications.
• A gloss meter will eliminate any objectivity when delivering a polished concrete floor. Too often, either the client or the flooring contractor feel aggrieved as its impossible to measure the gloss of a floor purely by looking at it.
