Rescue blade powers through thick steel plate

The rescue blade was once again put to the test when a large power utility plant required the removal of a solid steel plate that was encased in reinforced concrete. The plate –  1.6m wide, 3.2m long and 125mm thick – needed to be cut into smaller, more manageable pieces in order for it to be safely removed. The rescue blade was chosen for its speed of cutting, long lifespan and for obvious safety reasons.  The 350mm and 400mm Rescue blades were used with a 4.8kw, 2 stroke petrol powered hand held cutter and made light work of the heavy plate. The job was completed on time and within the required specifications of the project, with the Rescue blade once again proving its capabilities in exceeding expectations.
