Wadeville Mica staff training increase sales of products

Wadeville Mica is part of Mica Hardware which is a leading hardware franchise that has been in operation for over 30 years. Since they specialise in the industrial hardware and supplies market, their knowledge of tools and equipment is critical in order to offer perfect solutions for each of the clients’ requirements.

With this in mind, Nadine Grobbelaar, Marketing Manager of Wadeville Mica, made the decision to enlist training for various departments within their branch. “In order to increase our sales, we felt that it was necessary to empower and educate our staff. We wanted to achieve this by exposing them to what tools and equipment are available in the market, and also to educate them on the uses, and applications of the diamond tools and equipment that we current stock” explains

Diamond Products (DP) place enormous amounts of emphasis on the importance of product training, knowledge and expertise. Collectively, DP has over 30 years’ worth of product knowledge, development and experience and therefore, were extremely honoured to be commissioned to offer Wadeville Mica the training required.

With approximately 12 staff members ranging from internal sales, floor sales, buyers and the receiving department attending the training, a large spectrum of the company was able to increase their knowledge in diamond tools. This will empower them to be able to sell their product with confidence and add value to their customers in terms of providing ideal solutions.

“Since our staff have received training, we are already seeing a marked improvement in our sales staff. They now understand the science behind the tools, how to best use it and are equipped to sell more.
