The Doctors of Concrete have returned safe, sound and humbled by the incredible experience they had while being on this journey. They departed from the Table Mountain Cable Car base station on the 14th of June 2015 at 05H30 and started their journey towards Fish River Canyon. Traveling over 5416 km in just under 10 days, seeing incredibly sights. Among those were the mighty Baines Baobabs of the Naxi Pan, Sossusvlei Desert, Fish River Canyon and Etosha.
A great deal of mischief was in play with fancy dress ups, drinking games and general chaos.
The most memorable part of this whole experience was having the privilege of handing over pairs of school shoes to underprivileged children and seeing their absolute delight and thankfulness in receiving them. This would not of been possible without the assistance, aid and generous contributions from our suppliers and customers.
Due to your generosity, we were able to raise the over R 54 000.00, with the most money raised per team in the 2015 Put Foot Rally! That’s a whole lot of shoes!
Once again, we are extremely grateful to any and all contributions we received and know that little lives have been touched and changed because of it. Thank you, thank you!
